It came! Smoke and Ashes is in my bag at this very minute!!!

I don't know how I'm going to survive the rest of the day without starting to read it. I also don't know how I'm going to leave the house this weekend, between this, the DVDs, and my desire to write and make icons. Wheee! XD

And, while I'm at it, I'd like to do my usual summer thing and take some fic requests. I can't promise when I'll get them done, but I'd love to have some prompts I can use as breaks from my bigger projects. So, if you'd like to see me write something, now's the time to tell me - give me a fandom or concept, character, and an object, idea, song-lyric... something that I can work with to make a fic. As far as fandoms go, if you know I've seen it/read it, it's fair game, although if I don't feel I can do it justice, I reserve the right to request a different prompt from you.

In an interesting contrast to the above request, I'd like to request some post -BDM Simon/Kaylee fluff. Every post-BDM S/K thing on the net seems to be extremely graphic porn, and I know you could add some much needed tastefullness and cuteness to the genre.

between the book and the DVDs. I took the hold off the other DVDs
today Should be about the right time I would think.

About halfway through, more in love with both Henry and Tanya Huff than ever before. Leah manages to be irritating without me actually hating her, which is astonishing, and I'm going nuts over the Lee/Tony angst. ♥

Hey, here's a question. I see you also were in that holiday-time fluffathon over at imeantosay_. See, I never did get my fluffy fic. Would you be up to writing that for me?

Here's my criteria, in a nutshell:
I'd like to see food and music.
A lyric for inspiration: "Fell in Love" by Moxy Fruvous. My favorite line is "Try not to think while you're inside, just keep your wide eyes wide wide open." The whole song is just beautiful, though.
And it doesn't have to happen over Christmas or anything.

I see that Simon/Kaylee fluff has already been requested, but I guess I'd like mine pre-movie because I am not-so-secretly in love with Wash and want to see more of him always.
