THERE ARE PEOPLE AT THE SCHOOL ACROSS THE STREET. That means the lights are on. Which is really really creepy when the whole time we've lived here they've never been on, and people have never been in there. Especially not tons of people parked in the playground.

Now the undead creepy cultists who live in there are going to be woken up, and there will be brief warfare with the Seattle Police officers who are training there and then they'll come across the street and eat our brains. The world is going to end. All because they turned on the lights in the scary undead empty school across the street.

Also, CRAP. There is no indication of whether or not the tiny little airline company I'm using for my trip tomorrow is conforming to the new TSA guidelines regarding liquid/gel contents on planes. #$%^@#@&#). I'm going boating and I don't know whether or not I can bring sunscreen, toothpaste, face-wash... Argh!!!

Update: All persons, baggage, and cargo traveling on any flight or within the confines of a Kenmore Air Terminal is subject to search at the discretion of Kenmore Air. Kenmore Air has the right to refuse service to anyone if it is believed they present a threat to the security.

That... looks like they don't? o_O I'm going to call to confirm tomorrow morning anyway. Just to be sure. Yikes.

That reminds me of my own creepy building. Back in Ohio, there was this weird gas station. You know how most gas stations are on street corners? Well, this one was right in the middle of a block. It always changed its prices so that they reflected the current highest going rate for gas, but I never saw any cars stop there for it. In fact, the only cars I ever saw at the pump had no one in them and usually had things wrong with them, like flat tires and no windshields. Yet those cars were not always there in front of the pump, sometimes there were no cars. And I never saw any people...ever.

Oh god, that is creepy. Why would anybody put a gas station in the middle of a block like that? And... eeeee. I don't even know, that whole thing just sounds insanely creepy. Yikes.

(Btw, I am going up to the islands this weekend, so we won't be able to have the marathoning this weekend. You said you're free Monday, though, right? I'm going to try to stop by work on the way home, so I probably still won't get back any earlier than 6, but if you're free we can always meet up... and another of my geek friends who has the week off has also been wanting to watch B5 (and is a Firefly fan), so we could all meet at her place, which is much closer to where you live...)

If they won't let you take your stuff on, I'm sure your Dad has sunscreen and toothpaste, and Loretta has face wash. Not so fun to have to borrow, but better than nothing. Or you could buy a sunscreen that's better for your light skin on the Islands.

That is some kind of crappy shit. :/ A local woman got slammed up against the cockpit door and pinned down by air marshalls because they thought she was a threat. She was muttering things about Pakistan and urinated on the cabin floor, she was *obviously* troubled but not in a "gee, I'm gonna blow up the plane" kind of way. Sheesh.
