Seems like everyone's getting sick these days. You got a cold, one of the docs at my office got penumonia, one of my coworkers was out on Tuesday and I had to fill in for her... meep. YAY! We must watch some this weekend if at all possible.

Terra hinted a while ago that I should hold off on making travel arrangements from the airport to the house on Saturday? Is that still kosher? Cos if not, I should charter a shuttle bus ASAP. I'd feel damn foolish, taking the bus all the way back to the house. ^^;

It won't be a proble, to keep it a little longer than a week anyway. When I returned the lastone, I was talking to the librarian, and she was saying it's not a big deal on the season dvds, and that most people keep them a little longer than a week.

I'm still working on the Lumati fic, but having some "ohgod I don't remember this episode very well" problems. Like their names. o_O And then Marcus has decided to tackle-glomp my brain lately, and everything in the world seems to be making me think of him. So. In all likelihood there will be Marcus-fic as soon as I think of a conceit that isn't horribly depressing and is... you know... feasible what with him dying and all. :P

I'm still angry at JMS and Claudia for that. Take away not one but *two* of my favorite characters, in one fell swoop! And then throw the other two a little angst party, just to make things interesting. *headdesk* At least G'Kar came out of that episode perky and happy, otherwise I don't think I could've tolerated it.

The soup, endless amounts of tea with honey and lemon, lots of sleep... the usual routine when I'm sick. It's funny, one of the guys at the office has something similar now, and he's all "I have to go home 'cause the medecine I took makes me muzzy..." Me: "woah... you took *medecine* for that? Really? Huh."

It's not really that I'm anti-medication... it's just that medication doesn't *occur* to me.

I'll check out the episode later on tonight and see if they mention their names. Oh, goody! I'd love to read another Marcus fic. Claudia certainly blew me away in Rising Star, I always thought she did a great job, but damn was that hard to watch. And of course they have to show his body behind Ivanova and Franklin with a toe tag on it.

I'm more on the soup, sleep etc. myself. I really just don't like medication. And I'm always suprised when someone says 'why don't you take [insert one of the thousands of brands out there] and use it for your cold?' I'm usually stunned because damn that's a lot of symptoms that it's supposed to reduce. I'd rather just sleep through it all and eat really warm food. :D

...Okay, I missed the body and the toe-tag. You know that thing you said with being able to completely ignore anything else if Delenn is onscreen? Yeah, that's me with Ivanova, a lot of the time. Ouch. Ouch ouch ouch. Toe tag... oh, that's just miserable. *whines*

Exactly. I don't know why, really, but it always seems kind of silly to do the medication thing for just a cold. And half the time I feel like the hot soup and stuff works better for me, anyway. It's sure as hell less likely to make me light-headed and muzzy, that's for sure.

I know they gave them names but for the life of me I can't remember either one. I'm getting off early from work so I can go to a job fair so I might not be able to get the info until later on tonight. ): But I'll get it to you. Did you get my comment um, well I think it was a few days ago about the bloopers from S2 and on? I'm pretty sure I sent it in a comment, I think. :D

Oh, yeah and she was looking at it when Steven came in, gah, sob-fest, man.

No worries, no rush - I can always put in place-holders or avoid mentioning their names should I happen to have time to work on it before I hear from you. But I'd very much appreciate that! And yes, I did! I'm looking forward to hunting those down as soon as I get S4 and S5 (I think it might've said no bloopers on S5, but there was another easter egg of some kind... anyway. Yay for easter eggs)!

Cool. :D Hmm, it might not have said it but-lemme check- no it doesn't say on the easter egg site that it has a blooper reel. But it does actually, go to special features>universe of B5>data files. It should be in there, I'll brake out S5 and make sure that's the right directions.

I feel bad for all of them except for Lennier. Lennier is a bastard and deserved it all. XD

Lol. I swear, I really am intrigued to see what happens in S5 to make people so... ambivalent about Lennier. I mean, I know why you are (at least in part, and I much enjoy playing at trying to sway you!) but I'm told that there's a lot of anti-Lennier sentiment (and anti-Delenn sentiment as well) coming out of S5. So... should be interesting. XD

I was mostly joking about Lennier, I still don't like him but I *guess* I'll put up with him. Plus, you give all kinds of things to think about with him and while I hate to concede that he might have his good points, you win because you're so persuasive. XD

I think a lot of the anti-Delenn and Lennier sentiment in S5 is really about *how* it was handled. Not really the characters, or at least that's my view point. But I was told that since I did love Delenn so much (and her headcrest) I wasn't seeing the whole picture or something like that. Yeah, whatever. XD

I'll go down loving Delenn (and her headcrest, did I mention that?), top o' world ma! You'll never take me alive, anti-Delenn's of the world!

I know, I know - and I can even see where you're coming from on some of it. Half the time I don't even know exactly what it is that makes me like him, aside from being a sucker for the romantic loyalty thing. Hence the Marcus love, too, of course. Now if you disliked Marcus we would have to have words - I can't see how anybody could dislike someone that adorable! And we shall not even speak of someone disliking Susan. That would be appalling. XD

I'll happily give in to the love for the headcrest, but I like it without the hair. And so I'll shoot back the full Minbari icon for you. ;)

I know what you mean. I like a lot of characters just because, can't really explain it. Like Bester, I love Bester, I know he's evil, I know his a prick but I just can *not* love him. He's awesome. Sometimes I feel like I'm trying to explain why I like Attila the Hun or something. XD

I've heard several people dislike him but I don't. He seemed harmless, well I know he can kick ass and all, but a couple people I chatted with years ago now. Thought him to be really passive-agressive and stalkerish. I didn't get but whatever, I was too busy trying to defend my love of Delenn anyway. There were several who disliked CC and Ivanova but loved O'Hare and Sinclair. I belive one was quoted as saying (and I remeber this because of the disturbing imagery it produced) "O'Hare is a great actor and I would cream in my shorts if he made a B5 movie".

Mmmmm, I love both. There's so much you can do with a little headcrest and hair. Also full Minbair Delenn was sex with a bone. (slaps self for an intended pun)

Also I give you full Minbari Delenn as well. The only reason I got into making icons was so I could have a vast amount to use. Quite selfish really.

Btw, job fairs SUCK.

I'm going to pretend I never heard you say that some people think O'Hare is a 'great' actor. No. No no no no no no no no no no. NO. And the rest of that statement just doesn't bear thinking on in the slightest.

Anyway.

Ooo, bad pun. XD I don't know, I just think she was much prettier/sexier (both!) with the full Minbari look. Strange and beautiful, and that hairstyle she has as a half-human just does nothing for her bone structure, whereas the full crest was just stunning - made her look so delicate and strong (again, yes, both!), and the intricacy of the crest always fascinated me.

I have the same reason for having a paid account - I just wanted more icons. :D

Oh, yeah the mind it boggles. I thought you would get a kick out of that statement. You'd be suprised how many times I heard 'O'Hare was just playing Sinclair as guarded - look at how he acted around Garibaldi and Sakai.' The first two times I saw that on the TWOP boards I had no reply. Now I just say something pithy.

:D I love both really, just in different ways. Truthfully the only time I *really* liked her hair was at the beginning of S4 when it was really curly and glossy, for some reason they dropped that for the rest of the season. And good god yes I loved her full headcrest so, so awesome and sexy. You know on the first season dvds I watched the costume and designers feature the guy who did Delenn's crest said that JMS told him that all Minbari females carve there crests making them beautiful and unique. While the males don't do anything to them, the spikier and rugged the crests are shows how aggressive they are. That's why Neroon's was so spikey while Lennier's was smooth and had very little spikes. It was really interesting to watch, I think that's where I got the basis that the crests were sensitive although I could be wrong about that it's been awhile since I've seen it.

Speaking of Norse gods, I just found out that a former co-worker of mine named her new son Odin Uther. My first reaction was that she shouldn't have mixed mythologies. My boyfriend's first reaction was that little Odin is going to be teased mercilessly when he gets older.

I took the quiz and got Odin. I get the intellectual part, but I'm certainly not a leader.

Wow. My first reaction is that somebody's begging for trouble, but that's just me being superstitious. The only story I've heard worse than that was a friend of a friend who named her cats Puck and Loki. Now that's just tempting fate!

That's a neat answer, though. Odin is awesome. Scary... but very much awesome.
