the night out

Had a day and night yesterday. First, went out to Westlake with Terra and Dora, trying on formals just for the hell of it. Then Derek and I met up with Jyuu_Chan, Stormwolf, Tiffangelwings, LadySonnet, SableBadger, YiMisty, and Deb, and, after a bit of hanging out and getting ready, went to the Mercury for my first ever real night out on the town.

I had a totally wonderful time. Good amount of dancing, lots of chatting, had three drinks (plus sips of other peoples drinks), and had lots of people wish me happy birthday. Very fun place, good atmosphere, nice people. I want to thank everyone for being so wonderful and making the night as fun as it was, particularly since I required a bit of help toward the end of the night, what with being very tipsy. To be honest, I couldn't walk straight, and also couldn't stop giggling. To all of you who put up with that giddy silliness--you are true friends, the best I could have.

Hey that's what 21st birthdays are suppose to be like. I'm just happy you had a good time and we didn't have to carry a passed out Ros. It was lots of fun. I just want to give another big thanks to ladysonnet for the wonderful job she did on my outfit.
