rivendellrose | an unquiet night

Today, not so fabulous. I had weird dreams last night (including another of my labyrinth dreams - I have those a lot, where I and a handful of assorted other people are trying to find our way into/out of a labyrinth of some kind), only really started sleeping heavily in the morning, couldn't seem to get comfortable, kept finding myself putting my arm to sleep by laying on it or something, and then, in the culminating terror, woke at exactly 8am to what I could have sworn was

nekokoban calling my name, and found that I had somehow managed to contort myself half on my stomach so that my own arm was pressing into my windpipe. Not enough to be dangerous, of course, but definitely a very uncomfortable way to wake up.

Looking back, I realize that the sound that woke me up must've been my cat crying. At the time I was worried that something had gone horribly wrong - first reaction was "something happened to the cat," second was that something had happened to Terra, thus explaining why she was still home at 8am. Whatever it was, it sounded piteous, and put me in an 'off' mood for the rest of the morning. My shoulders have been tense and sore all day, too.
