rivendellroseVery busy day today... I'm so relieved it's finally over. I really did want to make it to the project/social night, but I got home from work at 7:40 and just couldn't handle the idea of going back out.
Oh, and I suppose I ought to provide the ANSWER to that little 5 truths and a lie meme, oughtn't I?
1. When I was very little, a bizarre allergic reaction got my parents accused of child abuse in an ER. True! We never did figure out what I was allergic to, and I can't spell the name of what it was that I got, but it gave me big bruise-welts all over my legs.
2. I once climbed all the way up an apple tree and then forgot how to climb down. True! I really *am* a cat.
3. I have yet to break any bones. *knocks on wood* True! (and yes, I really am that superstitious...)
4. I was once so flustered when a boy asked me to say something in French that I said "Je suis un sandwich." *BEEEP* This one's the lie. I didn't say it. I managed to turn the conversation away, because that was the only damned thing I could think of. Damn gorgeous French boys. ;)
5. I teased a friend in highschool for loving the Harry Potter books. True. I should probably apologize to him someday....
6. I had never used an online chat service or messenger before my freshman year of college. True, as far as I can remember.
So, if there were a prize, it'd go to LadySonnet--plus, she gets points for knowing that I really *would* get myself stuck up a tree. ;)
