sigelphoenix's wonderful party... and completely forgot that I'd posted it as private originally because I wanted time to go back over my answers. And then felt vaguely sorry for myself because no one replied. *Headdesk*
So, uh... belated memes. And a kitten in a teacup.
Unless I've missed or doubled-up on counting, I wrote 49 stories this year. Wow. All are in my memories under 'fic,' listed by fandom - everything after "Auld Lang Syne" should be from this calendar year, with exception of "Tin Stars" - I edited the tags or something for that one and somehow it got booted forward in the list. :P I'll try to add links to the meme later, but I'm in a rush now so I don't make myself late to work!
This year I branched out into a few more new fandoms, and I like to think that my writing has gotten a bit more mature as time has gone on. I've been taking more time with my fic (at least the big ones), getting more of them beta'd, working harder at making them fluent and well-written. I don't know whether it works, but I try. ;)
My favorite story this year (of my own): I think it was "Enough for Now," my River/Zoe fic.
My best story this year: "Enough for Now," again. Took me for frigging ever, but I'm still so darned proud of that thing.
Most fun story: "The Art of Love and War" (Firefly, Wash/Zoe). Or "Highlander 5 As it Should Be." Or "Family Portrait"....
Most sexy story: "Enough for Now," again, without question. ;)
Story with single sexiest moment: It would be too boring to say the same thing over again, wouldn't it? Okay, fine... "Nearly Sweet Sixteen" (HP, Narcissa/Snape) from the six kisses meme. I have a library fetish, so sue me. Or "Portrait With a Cup of Tea" (DS9, Garak/Bashir) from the same meme.
Story with single sweetest moment: Sweet... umm.... "Tian Chang Di Jiu" (Firefly, Zoe/Wash) or "Someday" (Highlander, Joe and Amy). "Love, Death, and the Winter" is automatically disqualified because Susan refuses to be 'sweet.'
The story that made me cry: Oh god... "The Black" (Firefly, post-Serenity) is pretty sad. Mostly I just yell at my fics, though, not cry at them...
Hardest story to write: Out of the finished stories? "Enough for Now." Out of the unfinished? This damned Giles/Jenny fic I've been working on basically since I saw "Passion."
Easiest story to write: "A Few Thoughts on Fatherhood." The little ones always go quick.
"Holy crap, that's wrong, even for you" story: "Enough for Now?" No, it's probably the unfinished Lennier redemption fic. I've already had one beta tell me that part of it is highly creepy. And I believe her.
Most overdue story: Out of the ones I've actually finished, it was "Family Portrait," which I promised something like a year before actually finishing the damned thing. Out of the unfinished... I've owedryunohi a Sinistra-fic since something like September. Oops. I really will get around to it eventually!
And! Take any one of my stories, if you like, and ask me what happens after the end of the story.
I admit, most of mine really aren't that exciting in this aspect... but I'd love to have a few questions to answerwhen I get home from work this evening, before we head off for the New Years' party! ;) (Edit: Obviously that last bit doesn't really work since... that was a while ago.)

a tie between A Few Thoughts on Fatherhood,
