A meme I can't resist, from hoperomantic:

Here are five fictional characters that I want on my side when the apocalypse comes:

1. The Doctor. Whaaaaat? You're all just jealous you didn't think of it first. XD (And see me being good and not saying "Ninth Doctor preferred"? Oh, wait...)
2., also a corollary to 1 - The TARDIS. Because you can't have one without the other! Also, she's awesome and could probably survive the apocalypse all on her own at this point.
3. Festina Ramos. Because she'd scare the apocalypse into not happening.
4. Giles. In case it's not a scientific thing! ;)
5. Zoe. Because, honestly - after everything she's been through, an apocalypse would be easy.

Alternates on Team!Apocalypse:

1. What hoperomantic said: "Ummm... can I just pick like the whole crew of the Serenity...?"
also
2. Susan Ivanova, who got left off the main list but who is totally kick-ass and awe-inspiring, of course.
and
3. Delenn. Who could probably talk the universe into not imploding, because she's like that.

Alternately, just because it's fun, here are the five characters I think would be most likely to be responsible for causing said apocalypse:

1. Angel. Good or evil, that man has a disturbing knack for bringing about destruction.
2. The Master. Because it looked like fun, and it would piss off the Doctor.
3. Aziraphale and Crowley. Purely by accident.
4. The what-are-they-called. The Expendable-verse aliens who look like potatos with long legs. o_O The ones who just kind of destroy things by existing near them.
5. The Doctor. Because despite his best efforts, sometimes I think he's not particularly good for the universe in general...
