(Title is what my cat was saying to me all weekend - he gets soooo lonely when I'm not home that when I actually stay in every now and then, he gets totally crazy. He kept standing with his front paws on the side of our tub while I took a bath last night, staring me in the face and giving me a very solemn and worried "What are you doing in that water???" kind of look.)

Had a lovely quiet weekend, going to IKEA with my mom for a new lamp and then hanging out at home writing and watching DVDs. Discovered, among other things, that my copy of Girl in the Fireplace has a nasty flaw in that the audio and video don't match up, and also that I don't hate Connor (of Angel) quite as much as I'd expected. It's weird stepping straight from 2nd season into 4th, but I'm enjoying it very much so far.

And now, because I'm on lunch, a writing meme:

Give me a story/universe/concept of mine and a time period, or an alternate POV, or a moment that I haven't explicitly written out in the story but you want to see. I'll write it. Unless I'm already writing the sequel and that scene's in there.

Because I need some brain jump-starting that doesn't involve the weird Doctor Who bunnies I've been having lately. Must get back into Other!Fandoms!mode. Not least because I have fic due later this week. XD
