happy little details
Sep. 18th, 2007 08:58 amI wrote on the bus today. This pretty much means that my handwriting shuffles back and forth between my usual slightly-spiky half-script and, well, what most closely resembles a cardio-gram.
I can only hope that I have half a clue what I was trying to say when I go to transcribe it into the computer this evening. On the plus side, a Major Project that I've been working on is now in the editing stage (yes, it's fic, but I'm still happy about this, dang it!), and appears to be acquiring sequels... I guess I'd better hope a few people other than the roommate and I think it's worth reading. :P
Also, last night I got the brilliant idea to take a bath, and proved that I do not do this often by half-scalding my feet and then having to stand around in my bathrobe while my candles burned down, trying to cool down my overly-hot water. And then made myself dizzy from languishing in the heat for too long. Yeah. I'm that butch.
I love autumn. I can finally sleep snuggled up under my warm down comforter again, and that makes me soooooo happy. ♥
(Oh, and also? The Doctor Who (8th Doctor) audio dramas running on BBC 7 right now? Totally rock. If you have access to someone who can make their computer cooperate with BBC's website (or, y'know... can listen live through the luck of living in a country decent enough to have actual radio content that doesn't suck), you should totally check it out.)

Date: 2007-09-18 06:00 pm (UTC)I'll definitely take a bottle of water next time. That was too glorious not to do again sometime.

Date: 2007-09-18 06:15 pm (UTC)(Also, last time I took a bath, I first ran it too hot, then cooled it down too much, then slipped on the bottom and jarred my tailbone on the edge. I think it's more common than most people want to admit . . .)

Date: 2007-09-18 05:57 pm (UTC)Fall's my favorite season all-around. Though waking up buried in down-comforter is pretty high on my list of reasons, today at least. ;)

Date: 2007-09-18 09:30 pm (UTC)Warm comforters are love. The only problem is that in autumn the weather can change so quickly that I go to bed on a chilly night with the covers piled on and the electric blankie set low, and by morning it's warmed right up again up again and I've got a heat headache... :p
