I'm certain there was something I meant to do online today, but I can't remember for the life of me what it was. It wasn't anything important, just something silly that I wanted to look up or something, but... drat.

April Fools is so totally not one of my favorite holidays. Apparently I just don't have the kind of sense of humor required to enjoy spending all day eyeballing LJ entries and bits of news and things going "gee, is this a prank, or real?"

It does encourage my healthy skepticism, though. :P

Yeah, definetely not one of my favourite holidays either. We spent the whole morning at work trying to decide if the news about the Finnish foreign minister resigning were real or an April Fools joke.

Also, if I ever have to see a Rick Astley video ever again, it will be too soon.

I don't mind a little "oh, gotcha!" like the BBC video of the flying penguins, or the Google blog news about the colony on Mars, but... bleh. I guess I just don't have a good enough sense of humor for it or something. I've always liked parody for parody's sake better than parody masquerading as truth. :P

Yeeeeeeah, thank goodness I managed to avoid that whole rickrolling for the most part. Only got it for a bit once. Yeck.

Yeah, I don't like it either. I don't know if it's because I just have no sense of humour, or because I rely so heavily on facts in my life. Being made to distrust everything just isn't my idea of a good time.
