The Secret Garden is one of my favourites; I've had my copy since grade 2 and it looks terrible well-loved!

I hadn't actually read it until a year or so ago - for some reason I managed to get hooked on reading and rereading A Little Princess when I was a kid and missed The Secret Garden entirely. Very weird.

You did too! I remember we talked about once, after you read it again a few years ago and really ended up liking it. It's one of those books nobody ever bothered assigning to the advanced English classes, because I guess they assumed we'd already read it.
