Canon Ship: Master/Doctor (and Doctor/Romana, because it's canon, damn it) and Master's-TARDIS/Doctor's-TARDIS.

One True Pairing Ship: Jack/Doctor. Sorry, but if Jack was ever going to fall in love with just one person and actually make it his one-true-love thing, it'd be the Doctor. He's so in love with him.

Canon Ship: Ianto/Jack/Gwen. You know they're doing it, now. And it's so absurdly cute.

"If this happens I'll stab my eyes out with a spork" Ship: Am I allowed to say Rhys/Gwen? I know it's canon, but... if they show naked!Rhys again, I swear I'm going to have to spare myself the suffering.

"You are one sick bastard" Ship: Uh... Jack/Mfanwy? As non-platonic, that'd be pretty sick....

"I dabble a little" Ship: Owen/Tosh. I can't help it, I love both of them and I want them to be happy!

"It's like a car crash" Ship: Rhys/Gwen, in canon. Actually, Tosh's love life as a whole qualifies for this, as well. I can't remember who wrote it just now, but my favorite-ever Torchwood fic is where after "To the Last Man," the Torchwood crew holds an intervention and tells Tosh that, for the safety of all Cardiff, she's not allowed to date anymore. ♥

"Tickles my fancy but not sold just yet" Ship: I like Jack/Ianto in principle and in canon, but most of the fic goes way the hell too OTP about it for my taste. Jack's too in love with the Doctor to go all true-love about Ianto right now, I think.

"Makes no canon sense but why the Hell not" Ship: Jack/River Song (or rather River/Jack - she'd totally top him. That's the other personal-canon I have about Jack... he pinch-hits, but he prefers to sub, I think)

"Everyone else loves it but I just don't feel it" Ship: Probably Jack/Gwen, I guess.

"When all is said and done" Ship: I'd have to say that'd be TORCHWOOD. All of them. One big, snarky, roiling mess of Torchwood. ♥

See his interaction with the real Jack? and with spike? and the doctor? i mean, he totally lets the doctor lead, unless about to face down daleks and that had rose in there too so can't be counted really.

It's funny - I started out Torchwood completely hating Gwen, but... she's kind of snuck up on me, over time. I still get annoyed as all hell with her, and I hate episodes that focus on her, but... somehow I can't help sort of being fond of her, as well.

As for Jack... I think he switches depending on the person, but I get the sense that he prefers, when possible, to let the other person lead. I'm basing this on the fact that he seems to regard the Doctor as his ultimate object of desire, and to have a lot of interest in bossy women as well (Donna, Sarah Jane, Harriet...)

I'll see if I can track down that Torchwood fic for you later today - I think I have it marked in my favorites over at Teaspoon. *g*

"It's like a car crash" Ship: Lone Gunmen slash. As above, I'm sure it's out there... but I sure don't want to think about it.
