I think, in my humble opinion that it's best to just say, thank you, you're a very nice guy, but I just don't think we had that much in common.

Head 'em off at the pass! Before he can ask if he can see you again, shoot him a breezy, "I guess I'll see you around (on campus, at the club, wherever you met him)". And then run like hell!

Somebody blew me off like that recently (except the running part), and I thought it was really well done.

Sadly, he's a fast one - he already emailed. *sighs*
