Oct. 20th, 2008 02:09 pmHad a reeeeeally busy weekend - out to the symphony on Friday with
maymargaret (a bit distressing, since we nearly forgot we had the tickets, but the performance was really good and worth the trouble), and then out with my mom on Saturday, going to IKEA for a new bookshelf (yay!) and duvet cover and so on, then out to dinner with Mom's family, and on Sunday I spent the day over at
tavern_wench1's for a gaming party. All awesome things! But now I have to actually find time to get things done during the week, which... is always exciting. Particularly when work is still insanely busy. :/
So. Here's the plan. Tonight, I need to clean the fish-tank (water is already out in a bucket in the bathroom, so it will be mostly de-chlorinated by the time I get home and I'll only have to add a tiny bit of the chemical stuff) and scrape the algae off the front of their tank. After that, I need to either mark up the pattern for the robe for Halloween or get my room as clean as possible so that tomorrow I can put up the bookshelf. Both of those are kind of large projects, so... I'm not quite sure how to get that done.
Oh, and I need to call my dad to reschedule our dinner later this week - I accidentally double-scheduled myself again, thanks to having something written on my planner at home, but not on my work-calendar. *Headdesk*
I do have my wig for the Halloween costume, at least... ended up going with a cheap one, since if the costume works I can always spend more money on a better one later. If the rest of the costume works, I'll probably put in an order at one of the websites I was originally looking at, with the plan of having it for NorWesCon this year.
...All of that requires my actually finding the time to make the bloody costume, of course. Eaagh. Why does October have to slip by me so quickly?
