best pre-Halloween party ever!

Wheeeeeeee! Absolutely fantastic night last night at the club, only slightly mitigated by not getting into bed until two in the morning and still having to get up at 7am as usual. XD Will post details (and, eventually, pictures) later, but suffice to say that the door was made up as the TARDIS, and there was a TARDIS console in the middle of the club, and that it was beautiful. And there were Daleks. And didn't (quite) manage to tie myself up in my scarf while dancing.

Edit: Actually, some of the pictures are up already, it seems! Here - have a Tardis console and assorted other pictures from the party I was at!

There were also lots of lovely, fun people in lovely, fun costumes. I particularly enjoyed the effect of catching various Doctors out of the corners of my eyes while dancing. Delightfully surreal. ♥

...And now, I really need some tea. Oh, and to work. That, too.

Edited again: Oh yeah - and HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!! to everybody who celebrates! I wish you many wonderful fun ghoulies and ghosties and Daleks. Or candy. Whichever appeals to you more. ;)

I'm so glad everyone liked the TARDIS console as much as they did. It was a lot of work, but totally worth it.

I enjoyed talking to you last night -- if you ever need someone to guest you into the Mercury, or if you wanna go for tea sometime and talk about writing fanfic, you should totally let me know. *waves*

It was definitely the hit of the evening, I think. K and I showed up a bit early (I was afraid I wouldn't remember how to find the place), so we stationed ourselves at a table near the console and had fun watching all the 'Doctors' come in and make a bee-line straight for it, like little boys in the best toy-store ever. ;)

Totally! I'm definitely planning to come back to the Merc more, and it'd be great to have tea and chat!

*grin* Yeah, the guy in the Seven costume said to me, "This is like a childhood dream come true." :)

Now that the Halloween season is over, my life should wind back down to its usual chaos, so we'll do this sometime soonish, then. Cool.

There were a couple times when it was just myself (4) and 7 on the dance floor with the Master--I kept imagining we'd broken the Laws of Time to beat our old foe in some sort of cosmic dance-off, heh. And then there were the times when it was just 2 Masters dancing (Saxson & black frockcoat).

Lovely to dance with you--and if you had gotten tangled with your scarf, there were at least a half-dozen Doctors with various gadgets who would have swooped in to help, I'm sure. ;) And also, once again with feeling: perfect Romana II!

Definitely hope to see you at the Merc again soon--I want another dance! ;)

It was so much fun! I still don't have the right hat to go with the outfit... someday I need to do the costume from City of Death, since I've got the hat for that one.
