I got in!!!!!!!!!
Mar. 11th, 2004 10:15 amI did it - I got into the Scandinavian Mythology class!!!
I've been trying to work something out with a friend of a friend who was in and wanted out, but our schedules never seem to fit together, so I've been checking the website every so often to see if a spot opened up. Just a minute ago I checked... and there was a spot open. I dropped my American Lit class and entered the new course number as fast as I could - and I got it!!
My schedule next quarter is as follows:
English 324 - Shakespeare from 1603
English 494 - Honors Seminar (focused on DuBois)
Scandinavian 330 - Scandinavian Mythology
YAY!!!!!
ETA: Was gloating and flipping through my copy of the Poems of the Elder Edda... and found this entry in the glossary - "Mirkwood. A mysterious forest or moorland that separates the lands of Atli from those of the Gjurkings."
*Shakes fist at the Professor, laughing.* I love it... it always surprises me when I find one.
