rivendellroseApparently, the terms 'vagina' and, hilariously, 'down there,' are too racy for certain US television networks.
Quote: "Tampon is not a dirty word, and neither is vagina" [says the company who made the TV ads in question.] Au contraire, say squeamish networks that think lady-products are icky.
Someone on UnfunnyBusiness asked if this means the same networks will be removing ads for Viagra, since they refer to erection. I somehow doubt it.
Pity no one's telling which three networks refused the ads. I'd love to send them a few choice words of response to their idiocy.
