So, I'm pretty sure everybody here knows about the 'saga' of the "Avatar: The Last Airbender" movie, but on the off-chance that some people have missed it, I feel the need to throw out one last note about it, complete with links. The original show is awesome - I still haven't seen the whole thing, but it was very fun and interesting, and I enjoyed it a lot.

The movie? Is whitewashed. I will not be seeing it. I will not be giving that production company money. I will be wondering how the director/producer can live with himself.

Check out Racebending.com for more intelligent commentary than mine, but short version? Please don't give these people your money. They need to learn that whitewashed casting is not okay.
