"Journey to Babel." Yes, I love "Amok Time" just like pretty much every other fangirl ever, and I enjoy "Mirror, Mirror," and I have some affection for several other episodes, but... D.C. Fontana created so many things that I love, and her bonkers idea to have Spock's parents show up and for him to flat out refuse to acknowledge them until forced to is one of the best ever. Also, Andorians! How could this not be my favorite?

He really was, wasn't he? Sarek is all kinds of horrible, looking back, but oh my god I was enchanted by him as well as by Spock when I was young. And he's still such a fascinating character.
