rivendellroseHad my memorization test for Shakespeare today. It wasn't quite as bad as I'd feared it would be, but I certainly didn't spit out the whole part like I'm supposed to.
However, I felt somewhat vindicated when I counted my lines, afterword, and discovered that instead of the 40-60 lines that each part was supposed to be cut down to... I have about 80. *Whimpers* So, it's not totally unreasonable that I blew this, even though it really had a lot to do with the fact that I... umm... sort of didn't start seriously memorizing til yesterday. >.> I've been busy. And a bum.
Bad Jen. BAD.
Anyway, the rest of the day's been pretty good - had a few hours of work, have a few more later tonight, but one job that I really wasn't looking forward to got cancelled, so I feel better about that. And there's oh so much reading for me to do. Oh, and writing a proposal/abstract for my paper for English honors seminar. *Dies* I am convinced, however, that this will not be too bad.
I can't wait for the weekend.
