Owww.

Why? Why does the one face-wash I find that clears up my skin also rip it to shreds, removing every bit of natural moisture that I have, regardless of how I slather the stupid special moisturizer on afterwards???

My face hurts. And I'm going back to using the Body Works stuff which, although it did not get rid of all my break-outs, at least did not dry my face out to the point of resembling the fucking Sahara. This is soooo not worth it.

I'm gonna go put on more moisturizer, now. Thank you.

Proactiv. To be fair, though, they have a warning about people with 'very sensitive skin' not using it - I just sort of waved it off, but I forget sometimes that I really *do* have exceedingly sensitive skin.

I'm sure it's great for some people... it's just looking like it's not the thing for me.

Not to ask an obvoius question, but you drink a lot of water right? Like 6-8 glasses a day?

I just want to make sure you're hydrated inside AND outside. :)

Not as much as I should, no - but that alone can absolutely not be the cause of the burning pain that is this cleanser. *Sighs* I'm sure it's not helping, but... the pain is still a very bad sign.

Thanks for reminding me about the water, though - I should go fill a bottle or two and make myself drink.

No no no... that's not what I was saying. I didn't mean to imply that. But I'm saying you might not have as much problem with dryness in general. That's all.

OHMIGOD! I am so sorry! They don't say ANYTHING
in the ads about dryness or pain, nor have I heard anything like that from the people I know who have used it. So very sorry! I hope that you feel better REALLY soon! :(

They say on the packages that people with "very sensitive skin" should avoid it - I guess I don't realize how sensitive mine is. It's not a big deal - it did start to clear up the break-outs... I think I'd rather have them, though, than the dryness.

You should use Eucerin, it's realllllllllllly good at cleansing, and really soothing for sensitive skin. I don't use anything other than Eucerin, because everything else burns.

Eucerin, hmm? Is it an over-the-counter type thing, or a mail order, or what?

I think I'm probably going to stick with the Body Works formula I'd been using before I tried this - it's not perfect, but I like it, and I was starting to get a system figured out that dealt well with almost everything. If that doesn't work, though, I'll have to look up Eucerin.

Eucerin is over the counter-I know that Bartell's has it, maybe we could take a look at it tomorrow. I know a lot of people who use that also!
See you in the morning!!
