narsilion last night - drank a lovely blackberry-lemonade martini with dinner, then had coffee, then just sat around yacking over no food or drink at all. Yay!!!
Dreamed I was back in highschool (except, of course, with buildings and people from the UW), and my entire graduating class was being sent, en masse, to be soldiers. Interestingly, it seemed that this didn't entail much travel, and most of the training was through... like... orientation videos. It was truly bizarre. Nobody was listening to me, though, and I couldn't find a way to get out of it. I remember askingnarsilion if she thought I could get out of it if I claimed to be really sick.
I also had less morbid dreams, but those memories were pretty fully squashed by the memories of that one. Not completely a nightmare, but pretty solidly disturbing.
I have to write my paper today. Wah. [/whining]
Also here are some pics from the PoA premiere. Beware of snarky captions, inane commentary, and spoilers down below the pics. Also beware of the fact that Alan Rickman looks like Snape and Lupin combined into one person. I cannot help but be fascinated by this. The hair!!!
Oh, and the spottiness comments about Tom? Please - he's a teenager. What more are we expecting, people?
ETA: Boy am I wibbly and emotional for no good reason today. I'm going to take a stab in the dark and blame this on stress.... if I get all freaked out and rant at anybody today, I apologize in advance and please don't take it too seriously. I seem to be under control for now... but I'm in a weird-ass mood nonetheless. *Confused*
