Harry/Hermione: meh.
Ron/Hermione: I don't really like it, but JKR seems to be pushing it. They're cute, but I think she could do better. ~.^
Harry/Ron: Eh, I suppose. Blame tearsandtutus and theladyfeylene.
Hermione/Draco: No. There was a time, back in my first beginnings in fandom. But never, ever again.
Draco/Harry: See above. And a repeated No.
Draco/Pansy: Definitely. Blame madammalfoy - it's all her fault!
Hermione/Neville: It could work... but, again, I think she could do better. (Can you tell I'm a bit protective of someone?)
Harry/Lavender: No - this one makes no sense to me.
Harry/Ginny: I'd very much prefer not.
Harry/Cho: No. I actually can't stand canon!Cho.
Ron/Luna: I like this one, and Luna really seems to like him.
Harry/Luna: Not seeing it - she likes Ron.
Neville/Luna: This one could work.
Harry/Ron/Hermione Triangle: Eh.
Hermione/Krum: Yes - I like this one.
Snape/Hermione: Ahem. Okay - here's where I get torn up. I normally am very against teacher/student fics, and this one goes soooo against canon that it hurts my brain. However... it's got a degree of appeal.
Dumbledore/McGonagall: Yeah, I can totally see it.
Sirius/Remus: Not my favorite, but it's practically canon, isn't it?
Parvarti/Harry: Nope - not seeing it.
Tonks/Sirius: Personality-wise, sure. I prefer Tonks/Remus, though - he needs somebody to cheer him up, poor fellow. Plus... Sirius and Tonks are first cousins.

Enter your own favorite if I haven't said it.: Lucius/Narcissa (you can't argue the obvious, and I adore a well-written fic between the two of them), and Severus/Remus (*lovelovelove* What can I say - they're both terribly attractive, to me, in nearly opposite ways, and there's all sorts of possibility for background).


Also, I feel like pointing out... I never intended this journal to have much of anything to do with fandom. On the other hand, I never intended to be sucked into the fandom beyond a single RP, and I've gotten a lot of happiness out of that. So I guess I'll just put up and shut up. *G*

Ooooo! I haven't seen this one. I'm with you on a lot of them. I like Ron/Hermione, though. And I love Harry/Ron, yes because of Kate. Harry/Ginny I don't mind.

Sirius/Remus....I have fallen so out of like for this pairing, it isn't even funny. But lovelies' young!Sirius is drawing me back into it.

You know how I feel about the Severus/Remus. I think everyone does at this point. ;-)

And I am happy that you have been sucked into the fandom. What would I do here without you?

And ew! First cousins! I have seen a good deal of Snape/Tonks, though. If you see one under the humor category, you might be in for a really fun time. XD Yeah, I'm a sucker for well written humor. I'll go with any pairing if the fic has got good enough humor.

"Dumbledore", "McGongall", and "smut" should never, EVER exist in the same sentence unless there is a serious negative between them like: "Thous shalt NOT write D/M smut..."

I really need to finish my Snape/Tonks fic, someday - I keep plugging away at it, but it's taking time. It's a humor piece - I don't know how it couldn't be, with those two... XD

Yeah... old people sex is not really good. But it's clear how devoted she is to him, and I think there might have been something going on, when they were younger. Now, I restrict them in my mind to hand-holding and the occasional chaste peck, if even that.

Severus/Harry. I have merely two things to say about the reason why this pairing is the first one that I list: The Mirror of Maybe by Midnight Blue, and "Now, if you don't mind, sir, would you lower your wand?"

After that, Siris/Remus, because they are always together, hug quite frequently, and give Harry a joint gift. Come on: only couples ever do that.

I'm quite a fan of Lucius/Severus ... because Sirius calls Severus "Lucius' lapdog" in OotP, and simply *because*.

Lucius/Severus is a pairing I probably ought to find more of - I like both of them a lot, but there's a tendency with them toward a level of darkness I don't usually seek out.

Parvati/Lavender I would happily believe, but probably never read. Hermione/Ginny, on the other hand, is a pairing I'm very fond of, thanks to the lovely tearsandtutus. ~.^

I love this community. And yes, there usually is quite a bit of darkness, but I'll keep in mind the next time that I write a non-dark Lucius/Severus ficclet that you'r interested... ^_~
