rivendellroseI was going to wait until the 18th to post this, but... he was being cute this morning.
A year ago yesterday, a big, buff blond boy reached out, tapped my arm, and gave me a "hey, babe - let's you and me get out of this dump together" look. It was love at first sight, even if we didn't actually see each other again until later that week.
He's a bit less the strong-and-silent type, nowadays, and more the "where's mah dinner?!" sort, and a bit too prone to climbing on my shelf to pull down things he thinks are toys or testing my patience by putting his paws on the kitchen table, but every relationship has its sticking points, right?
For those who haven't seen him, here's a pic of my boy as he was when I met him.
