I was going to wait until the 18th to post this, but... he was being cute this morning.

A year ago yesterday, a big, buff blond boy reached out, tapped my arm, and gave me a "hey, babe - let's you and me get out of this dump together" look. It was love at first sight, even if we didn't actually see each other again until later that week.

He's a bit less the strong-and-silent type, nowadays, and more the "where's mah dinner?!" sort, and a bit too prone to climbing on my shelf to pull down things he thinks are toys or testing my patience by putting his paws on the kitchen table, but every relationship has its sticking points, right?

I seriously think he associated you with the dog, and that's why he didn't get along with you. It's the only thing I can think of.

I know, I can't either. But at the same time it feels like we've been there forever - I feel like I can barely remember the old apartment or any of that. That's usually the way my mind works, though.

I know! He loved me when he and I were staying together at your mom's place. Then we all moved in together! I still think it was a big case of 'hands off my woman, bitch!'. ;)

Maybe... He is pretty possessive of me, I guess. Weird, for a cat. At least he didn't freak out whenever anybody touched anybody else, like the dog did.

(*Coughs* Umm, don't suppose you have any thoughts on what Hermione might find in this whole Dementor thing, do you? I soooo suck at this kind of thing.)

He's crazy possessive!

(Uh, not really. But my brain, she is not what she normally is. That's okay, Hermione's going to be getting a note from either Sirius or Remus soon, delicately asking as to the status of her maidenhood.)

(Yeeeeah, I saw that. Poor Remus and Sirius. Hell, poor Hermione. And Ron. If I could blink away one thing done by previous players, this'd be the thing... Ah well. Should make for some pretty amusing conversation.)
