Day 10 - Most Shocking Moment

I think this is another one where I'm at a disadvantage for having watched so much initially when I was really young. I don't remember if "The Best of Both Worlds" or any other cliffhanger particularly shocked me, because it was all such a long time ago. So I guess I have to go with something Disco, because I can actually recall being shocked by a lot of that.
The whole second half of Disco S1 was full of surprises, but as far as "OMGWTF" I'm going to go with... oh, it's so tempting to say Ash's turn in the mirror universe, when Voq tried to kill Michael, but that was less shock and more a truly perfect (for my money, at least) cap on suspense. I'd figured out the Ash/Voq thing early on, and everything after that was an agony of anticipation as I figured out each step along the way just before it happened. And my god did Shazad Latif and Sonequa Martin-Green sell that scene. But we're looking for most shocking.
It also wasn't the big reveal on Lorca, because I figured that out when he smirked about Georgiou. God, but I loved that whole arc, though. I had not anticipated that Lorca was from the MU; several people I knew guessed it, but I vehemently denied the possibility until it was right there.
I think the biggest shock was probably, in the end, not even Michael "keeping" the emperor. That was stunning, but... well.
The real shock was the emperor walking onto the bridge of Discovery as her counterpart, and Michelle Yeoh nailing the performance of the emperor playing her alternate self. She was so perfect, and it was such a stunner seeing her walking onto that bridge. ♥
